Brand-new rooms, I had lovely experience.
Actually everything was perfect, my next choice again in Dunoon. I loved the hotel, it was lovely welcoming and spotless. The room for my bottle of prosecco. The jewel in the crown was very amiable and extra attentive staff. Good service was provided too. I could park the car onsite...

Budget guest room for our bottle of prosecco, contemporary atmosphere. With wake-up service available and efficient and kind staff at reception desk. Marvellous and brilliant location for visiting bars and restaurants.

The location is great, we had a room with sea view. The jetty is directly in front of the hotel, with ferry and train you can get directly to Glasgow.
The hotel is already a bit dusty and the room service could be better.

4 poster room was very well maintained, very comfortable, spacious, decor very good. Location very central. Staff very helpful. 3 dinner options; hotel dining room, bar and modern Italian restuarant.
No on site parking, so luggage drop off a bit of an issue. Plenty of free parking near by.

Very convenient situation next to ferry terminal. Modern Italian/Spanish restuarant called Rio was very good. Best Western membership means consistent standards. Staff very helpful when morning paper did not arrive (not the hotel's fault).
Slightly ageing bar/lounge area.

Rooms need serious cleaning improvements!!! Carpets are stained and worn out, bathroom fixtures require repairs too!!! An update on the communal areas is overdue, as they come off as tired and neglected.

The breakfast is english! The coast. The restaurant integrated into the hotel, was very good.
The family room was cold ! The shower wasn't so good. Old.

Old splendour with creaking floors.wonderful.old but very beautiful.a really special hotel with history. the big room is worth 99 Euro!.
slight need for renovation is unmistakable. dried flowers in the boxes. a pity, not good in such a beautiful old hotel but not really big negatives.

I had a lovely stay in a Premier Double Room with sea view, and I really enjoyed the comfortable bed and the clean surroundings. The sun terrace and cozy leisure room were perfect spots to relax after a day of exploring. There was a bit of light noise from outside, but it didn't ruin my overall great experience! 😊

The hotel is located directly on the main square with a view of the harbour and is an old town house with great architecture. The flair is also largely preserved inside, even if a little dusty. The elevator is old, but does its job. The rooms are fine. I had a nice big bath. There are two restaurants in the house: Pizzeria and Traditional, the latter offering good food. Parking is available down at the quay. The ferry brings you easily to the other side of the hole towards Glasgow
